沿革
- 1679Founded in 1679 (Enpo 7) in the Nishinada brewing district of Akashi.
- 1888Eigashima Shuzo Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1888 with 30,000 yen in capital.
- 1889The No.1 and No.4 wooden kura, the oldest of the seven still in use today, were completed in 1889.
- 1891The No.2 kura, used for aging shochu and whisky, was completed in 1891.
- 1894The brand "Yurimasamune" was trademarked in 1894.
- 1895The Kamitaka brand name was trademarked the following year, 1895.
- 1896The No.3 kura for sake storage was completed in 1896.
- 1899In 1899 the company built its own bottle factory and pioneered the 1.8-liter isshobin bottle with its "Yamato Damashii" brand.
