沿革
- 1923Founder Daiichi Iida became independent from his family's sake brewery and opened a sake retail shop in Yao.
- 1963Choryo Shuzo Co., Ltd. was established; the Yao factory was completed and a joint bottling license was obtained.
- 1964Successfully developed the groundbreaking new product 'Yoshinosugi no Tarusake', bottled cedar-cask sake.
- 1993Merged with Koryo Shuzo Co., Ltd., forming the current Choryo Shuzo Co., Ltd.
- 2008Head office relocated to the Koryo-gura brewery in Nara.
- 2009Launched the vintage junmai sake lines 'Inenokuni no Inenosake' and 'Futaho'.
- 2014Abolished the traditional toji (master brewer) system to brew with in-house staff only, and launched the limited-distribution 'Shikizaki' line.
- 2022Established 'Choryo Brew Park', a park facility next to the Koryo-gura brewery.
