Sanrensei is the modern challenger brand launched in 2007 by Mifuku Shuzo, a Shiga Prefecture brewery established in 1917 in the ninja heartland of Koka City. Where the main Mifuku label follows a traditional yamahai style, Sanrensei was built on sokujyo-moto fermentation for a fresher, more vibrant character, and its name encodes the brewery's layered ambition: three rice varieties, three grade tiers, and three seasonal releases, all shining in alignment like stars.
