沿革

  1. 1875Founded on Awaji Island (the brewery's own noren banner, shown on the official homepage, reads 'Founded Meiji 8').
  2. 1994At the request of the local group 'Awaji Sake Detectives', began brewing the sake 'Senmusui'.
  3. 1995The Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake severely damaged the brewing hall, but the brewers resumed brewing and completed 'Senmusui'.
  4. 2000'Chiyo no En' won the gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal.
  5. 2010Won the top award at the 65th Tajima Toji Self-Brewed Sake Research Meeting.
  6. 2012'Chiyo no En' won the gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal.
  7. 2015'Chiyo no En' won the gold award at the National New Sake Appraisal.
  8. 2020A nephew, who serves as the toji (master brewer), became the company's representative director.
