沿革

  1. 1604年頃Family records begin with Yusa Kinnojo serving Niwa Mitsushige, lord of the Nihonmatsu domain.
  2. 享保元年(1716年)Began producing sake, miso, soy sauce and oil under the trade name 'Aburaya' — considered the brewery's founding.
  3. 昭和8年(1933年)Received an Excellence Award at the National Sake Competition.
  4. 昭和10年(1935年)Received multiple awards including the National Honor Cup.
  5. 昭和30年(1955年)Reorganized as Okunomatsu Jozo Co., Ltd.
  6. 昭和43年(1968年)Relocated headquarters and renamed to Okunomatsu Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.
  7. 昭和49年(1974年)The 'Yachiyo-gura' brewery building was completed.
  8. 平成19年(2007年)Yusa Takeharu became the 19th-generation head and representative director.
