Ryujin Shuzo in Tatebayashi City, Gunma Prefecture, was founded in 1597 and produces Ozenoyukidoke, named after the snowmelt of the Oze highland, with water drawn from a 180-meter deep well known as the Ryujin well. Nearly all products in the lineup are junmai daiginjo, crafted by a young staff through hand-technique methods including bag squeezing and bottle extraction, with rice sourced directly from trusted Hyogo farmers. The brand has gained recognition for delivering high-quality junmai daiginjo at an accessible price point.
