Hanahimesakura is brewed by Kondo Shuzo, the only remaining sake brewery in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture, founded in 1878. The brewery draws ultra-soft water from a deep well 110 meters underground near Tsuzurafuchi, one of Japan's 100 best natural water sources, and works with contract farmers to source locally grown sake rice. The brand is known for its gentle yet gorgeous aroma and elegant rice flavor, with a firm texture that rounds out when gently warmed.
