오제키의 미국 역사는 1979년 캘리포니아주 홀리스터에서 시작되었으며, 미국에서 처음으로 일본 청주를 현지 생산한 양조장이 되었습니다. 선정 이유는 지역의 고품질 쌀과 시에라네바다 산맥의 맑은 수원이었습니다. 모회사의 뿌리는 1711년으로 거슬러 올라가며, 당시 오사카야 조베가 효고현 나다 지역에 만료를 창업했고, 1884년에는 스모의 두 번째 최고 등급을 기리는 의미로 오제키라는 브랜드명을 채택했습니다.
