简介
Shiohara, a place name referring to the hot spring and salt spring area within the Nasu region of Tochigi, gives its name to this junmai ginjo from Houranshuzou. The brewery draws on the pristine water of the Nasu highlands for fermentation, and the junmai ginjo classification ensures rice is milled to at least 60 percent with no alcohol addition, producing a fragrant, clean sake with natural body. The Shiohara name connects the sake to the mineral-rich landscape of the region's spring water heritage.
