沿革
- 1871Founded in 1871 (Meiji 4).
- 1886The original brewery was completely washed away by the flooding of the Tateiwa River caused by a typhoon in 1886 (Meiji 19).
- 1888In 1888 (Meiji 21), Shinohara Tota rebuilt the brewery at its current location and resumed sake production.
- 1951In 1951 (Showa 26), the brewery adopted the name 'Sakurauzumaki Shuzo,' under which it has continued brewing sake ever since.
