- 1919Founded when Tatsuji Kawachi purchased the brewing license from a Mr. Takahashi in Tsushima and began selling the sake "Hakugaku".
- 1933Upon incorporation, Matsutaro Ito became the company's first representative partner.
- 1984Began selling the honkaku shochu "Tsushima Yamaneko."
- 2021-2023"Hakugaku Daiginjo" won the gold award at the National New Sake Awards for three consecutive years.
- 2023Renamed from Kawachi Shuzo Gomei Kaisha to Shiratake Shuzo Co., Ltd.
- 2024Won the gold award in the ginjo category at the 2024 Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Competition.
