Sanadarokumonsen

Sanadarokumonsen is the heritage brand of Yamasan Shuzo, founded in 1867 in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture, a town historically associated with the Sanada clan whose six-coin crest the name references. After a period of near-dormancy caused by an aging workforce and aging facilities, the brewery was revived under new ownership that maintained the original name and committed to small-batch, all-junmai production. Water drawn from the soft Dokko mountain system and locally grown Hitogokochi rice from Ueda's Yaehara district anchor the lineup.
