Toa Shuzo traces its sake-making roots to Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture in 1625, making it one of the longer-established breweries in the Kanto region, and later relocated its head office to Hanyu City in 1945. The brewery produces sake using Saitama-grown rice and local water, and Miyakohomare is its pure rice junmai label, brewed for approachable, everyday drinking with a soft finish that does not tire the palate.
