Etokodori is a signature line of Naminooto Shuzo, a family brewery founded in 1805 on the shores of Lake Biwa in Shiga Prefecture, operated for generations by the Nakai family with three brothers sharing the roles of head brewer, koji maker, and steamer. The Etokodori junmai ginjo is produced with Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo Prefecture and brewed in small batches under the brewery's guiding theme of relaxation upon drinking, earning consistent acclaim for its balance of fruity acidity, elegant sweetness, and clean finish.
