Kamofuku Shuzo in Shimane Prefecture, established in 1922 as a purveyor of ceremonial sake to the local Kamo Shrine, produces this label as part of a portfolio defined by rich, umami-centered brewing over fragrance. The brewery, located in Ohnan Town in the mountainous interior of Shimane, uses soft regional water and maintains a philosophy of experimental, handcraft-focused sake production.
