Founded in Kawanakajima, Shinano Province (Tenbun 9).
1696
Family records predating Gensuke Chino were lost in a fire at the family temple, Korin-ji.
1765頃
The Chino Taroemon Shuzo brewery (the old brewery building) was constructed, and twelve wooden vats of 15-koku (about 2,700L) capacity were introduced.
1963
Established as Chino Shuzojo, Ltd.
1990
Won the top gold award (shuseki kinsho) at the Kanto-Shinetsu Regional Taxation Bureau sake tasting competition.
1997
A new brewery building was constructed.
2000
Mariko Chino became the brewery's toji (head brewer).
2007
Company name changed to Shusen Kurano Co., Ltd.
