沿革
- 1868Founded in 1868 (Meiji 1) by Etsuzo Komatsu.
- 1988Production suspended in 1988 (Showa 63); the company continued as a sake brewer via contract brewing.
- 2008Production resumed in 2008 (Heisei 20) when 6th-generation Junpei Komatsu returned home; on the morning of November 28, steam rose from steaming rice at the brewery for the first time in 20 years.
- 2018In 2018 (Heisei 30), the brewery marked its 150th anniversary and the Hojun brand's 10th anniversary.
