- 1830From the first year of the Tenpo era, began a koji (malted rice) manufacturing and sales business at the current site under the trade name Kojiya, also producing miso and soy sauce.
- 1897Founded Egashira Shuzo Goshigaisha (Miike-gura) as a sake brewing company in Meiji 30, and has continued brewing under the brand name Asahimori ever since.
