Tenranzan

Tenranzan is brewed by Igarashi Shuzo, a brewery founded in 1890 in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, named after Mount Tenranzan, a forested peak that Emperor Meiji famously climbed to survey the Kanto Plain. The brewery is located in a naturally rich area fed by two rivers and draws from three wells of varying depths, offering a range of water profiles used to shape the sake's character. Recent releases focus on directly pressed, lightly carbonated sake that captures the freshness of the brewing floor, alongside aged junmai styles showing the brewery's range.
