Kihachiro is the prestige label of Igarashi Shuzo, located in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture, and is named in tribute to the brewery's founder. Polished to a high degree and fermented slowly at low temperature using traditional pressing methods, the line has taken awards including the top prize at the 2016 National Heated Sake Contest and a gold prize at the 2016 Omachi Rice Summit.
