Senhime

Hiyama Shuzo, established in 1884 in Hitachiota City, Ibaraki Prefecture, produces Senhime as its primary brand alongside the historic Asahi Masamune label. The Senhime name — meaning princess — was adopted with the aspiration of welcoming more women to enjoy sake, and the label calligraphy was rendered by a calligrapher who is a distant relative of the brewery family.
