Koinokawa Junmai (River of Love Pure Rice) is a sub-label Junmai from Koikawa Shuzo in Yamagata, offering a more poetic, accessible presentation of the brewery's Shonai-region Junmai style. Brewed without added alcohol, it relies entirely on the rice's natural fermentation character, shaped by Yamagata's cool climate and quality water. The Koinokawa name plays on the Koikawa brewery name while evoking the imagery of Shonai's river-rich landscape.
