Kamomidori Junmai is the pure-rice foundation of Marumoto Shuzo's lineup, a brewery in Asaguchi, Okayama that pioneered self-cultivation of sake rice, beginning with Yamada Nishiki in 1987. Mildly dry with a quiet umami and light astringency, it is a food-forward sake suited to a variety of dishes.
