Junmainamasake Kitanohomare is an unpasteurized (nama) pure rice sake from Kitanohomare Shuzo in Hokkaido, bottled fresh without heat treatment to preserve its vibrant, lively character. The nama style retains active enzymes and a fresh, youthful energy that distinguishes it from pasteurized expressions. Hokkaido's cold northern climate is advantageous for maintaining the freshness of unpasteurized sake during production and storage.
