Hagino Tsuru Gokujo Junmaishu is the flagship premium junmai from Hagino Shuzou, a Miyagi brewery founded in 1840 along the historic Oshu Kaido road in Kurihara City. The brewery draws soft water from the Ryodosawa spring on its own mountain property, and uses Kuranohana and Miyamanishiki rice, with 98% of production classified as junmai. Gokujo, meaning 'top grade,' reflects the brewery's commitment to quality everyday sake brewed in small quantities.
