- 1871Founded in Meiji 4 (1871) as a local shop selling sake for Shinto offerings.
- 1955Incorporated as a company on February 28, 1955.
- 1972Expanded annual production capacity to 500 KL.
- 1980Expanded annual production capacity to 800 KL.
- 1989Partially automated the production line.
- 1991Expanded production facilities for higher-quality sake brewing.
- 2008Since 2008, has produced 'Ruizo' junmai shochu distilled from its own junmai sake.
