沿革
- 1871Kuramoto Shuzo was founded in Tsuge-Hayama, Nara City, Nara Prefecture.
- 1999Brewers including Kuramoto Shuzo formed the 'Nara Bodaimoto Sake Brewing Research Group' to revive the long-lost bodaimoto brewing method, isolating sake yeast and lactic acid bacteria from the grounds of Shoryaku-ji Temple and reviving the 500-year-old technique using the temple's own rice and water.
