Taniizumi is the flagship brand of Tsuruno Shuzoten, a brewery located in Noto Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, in the Noto Peninsula that juts into the Sea of Japan. The brewery and its entire facility were destroyed in the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, but the team has continued producing Taniizumi through collaborative arrangements with partner breweries including Yoshida Shuzoten in Hakusan City, part of a regional effort called Don't Stop Noto's Sake. Taniizumi is described as having a slightly melon-like aroma with smooth palate, gentle umami, and a refreshing, clean finish.
