Kiyosujonobunaga is produced by Kiyosuzakura Brewery, founded in 1853 near Kiyosu Castle in Aichi Prefecture, the former stronghold of Oda Nobunaga, whose name the brand carries. The brewery gained national recognition in 1984 by pioneering pack sake under this label, and has since won multiple gold medals at the National New Sake Competition while growing into the highest-volume shipper among Tokai-region breweries.
