Kanhokuto Shuzo was established in 1729 in Kama City, Fukuoka Prefecture, giving the brewery close to three centuries of continuous sake production in northern Kyushu. Kikutamanoi is one of the expressions brewed here, drawing on Fukuoka's sake-making traditions and local water resources. The brewery produces sake across a range of styles, from dry and firm to fresh and fruity, reflecting the breadth of Fukuoka's regional sake identity.
