Kikuishi is the signature brand of Urano Brewery, established in 1864 in Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, where the brewery has maintained traditional handmade production methods across more than 150 years of operation. The name Kikuishi references the Kikuishi stones, a natural monument found near Sanage-jinja Shrine on the sacred Mount Sanage in Mikawa. The daiginjo expression earned a gold prize at the Annual Japan Sake Awards, recognized for its mild taste and pleasant aftertaste.
