This honjozo is brewed exclusively with newly harvested Niigata rice from that year's shinmai harvest, giving it a notably sweet, fresh rice aroma. It shows a crisp, bouncy freshness with fruit notes of apple, plum, pineapple and banana, finishing lively and energetic.
