The Imanishi family has been connected to Kasuga Taisha Shrine in Nara since the 10th century, and their brewery, Imanishi Seibei Shoten, has crafted sake in the ancient capital since 1884, with the current head representing the 48th generation of this lineage. Natsushika, Summer Deer, is the warm-season expression from their Harushika line: Yamadanishiki polished to 60%, brewed to an SMV of negative 2.5 for a gentle sweetness that makes it immediately welcoming. Tropical fruit rises on the nose; the palate is creamy, light, and clean, with soft sweetness balanced by fresh acidity. A seasonal sake that pairs naturally with grilled dishes, fresh herbs, and long summer evenings.
Fruity and clean — the perfect entry point into premium sake.
