沿革
- 1848Tsuchiya Chuzaemon founded the Tsukamoto family sake brewery in Akitsu (Kaei 1). The brand was named 'Otafuku'.
- 1907At Japan's first National Sake Competition, 'Otafuku' won the top award. The 'Kansaiichi' brand was created afterward.
- 2018The July 2018 West Japan floods submerged the main house and brewery over one meter deep, destroying the koji room and much equipment.
- 2019Brewing resumed months late after the disaster, and the first new sake since the flood was completed in early spring 2019.
- 2020The eldest son, who had been working for a company outside the prefecture, returned home to join the brewery's management and brewing as the 9th generation.
- 2023From May 2023, the 'Kansaiichi' brand was unified under the 'Otafuku' name, with a renewed label design.
