沿革
- 1717Founded in 1717 as a teahouse near Ikuno-juku on the old Kyoto Road; later began producing sake and soy sauce.
- 1977In 1977, the brewery suspended its own sake brewing due to a sudden well failure and continued operations as a contract (OEM) manufacturer.
- 2008In 2008, the brewery's eldest daughter, Jun Imagawa, joined the production team and trained at breweries around the country.
- 2011In 2011, the brewery resumed its own brewing for the first time in 33 years.
- 2012In 2012, production of the junmai sake series 'Rokkan' began.
- 2017In 2017, toji Jun Imagawa obtained the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's Grade 1 Sake Brewing Technician certification.
- 2018In 2018, Jun Imagawa was certified as the first female toji among the Tanba toji guild.
