沿革
- 1875Founded in September 1875 (Meiji 8).
- 1902Registered the trademark "Matsuwo" in 1902 (Meiji 35).
- 1917Registered the trademark "Togakushi" in 1917 (Taisho 6).
- 2005Converted all premium-designation sake to junmai (2005 brewing year); competition entries also shifted to junmai daiginjo.
- 2007Shifted to using 100% Nagano-grown rice for all sake (2007 brewing year).
- 2008Won a gold medal for junmai daiginjo at the National New Sake Awards, using 100% Nagano-grown Miyama Nishiki rice.
- 2018In the first year the then-unregistered rice variety "Shinko-shu No.545 (Sankei Nishiki)" was eligible for competition entry, its junmai daiginjo won a triple crown of awards.
- 2020In late March the rice variety they had been trial-cultivating and brewing with since the early stage was officially registered as "Sankei Nishiki"; from that brewing year they began using 100% contract-grown Sankei Nishiki.
