沿革
- 1861Founded in 1861 (Bunkyu 1) in Kozuki, Takahira village, Arima district, Hyogo (present-day Kozuki, Sanda City). The founder, Kohei Okamura, started with soy sauce brewing before the family later moved into sake brewing, continuing to the current 6th-generation head, Rie Okamura.
- 1921In 1921 (Taisho 10), the brand name was changed from the earlier "Sanso Masamune" to "Chidori Masamune," inspired by the light, easy-drinking character of the sake.
