沿革
- 1855Founded in 1855 (Ansei 2) by first-generation Etsujiro Kotegawa (Kakusaburo).
- 1958Incorporated as Kotegawa Shuzo Co., Ltd. in 1958 (Showa 33).
- 1979Began manufacturing and selling barley shochu in 1979 (Showa 54).
- 1984Began manufacturing and selling barley shochu 'Hakuju' in 1984 (Showa 59).
- 1986Began producing black-koji barley shochu in 1986 (Showa 61).
- 1990Began selling the 3-year-aged black-koji barley shochu 'Usukawa' in 1990 (Heisei 2).
- 1997Began selling the 10-year-aged black-koji barley shochu 'Choukyu' in 1997 (Heisei 9).
- 2008Announced the 20-year-aged black-koji barley shochu 'Hitotsubu no Shinju', planned for release, in 2008 (Heisei 20).
