沿革
- 1819Founded as a sake brewery in Tokuyama, Yamaguchi Prefecture, in the second year of the Bunsei era (1819).
- 1898Filed a trademark application for the brand name "Hatsumomiji" (初紅葉).
- 1928Incorporated as Harada Sakaba Co., Ltd.
- 1945The brewery buildings were completely destroyed in the WWII air raid on Tokuyama.
- 1960Merged with Sanei Shuzo.
- 1985Temporarily suspended sake production.
- 2004Renamed the company "Hatsumomidi Co., Ltd." following the municipal merger that formed Shunan City.
- 2019Celebrated the brewery's 200th anniversary; Yasuhiro Harada became the 12th-generation head of the brewery.
