Honjozo Shussejo Namacho Ieyasukun is the nama-chozo (cold-stored, single-pasteurized) version of the Ieyasukun honjozo range from Hamamatsu Shuzo in Shizuoka. Storing sake unpasteurized through winter and spring before a single heat treatment at bottling preserves a livelier, fresher character than doubly pasteurized sake. The Tenjingura brewery, established in 1871, uses Shizuoka yeast and locally grown rice to craft this everyday expression tied to the city's Tokugawa legacy.
