Honjozo Shussejo Ieyasukun is a honjozo sake from Hamamatsu Shuzo in Shizuoka, named with a nod to Tokugawa Ieyasu, who based his rule from Hamamatsu Castle early in his rise to power before unifying Japan. The sake is brewed at the Tenjingura brewery founded in 1871, using Shizuoka yeast and regionally sourced rice. The label design, featuring the beloved 'Ieyasu-kun' character, reflects the city's pride in its Sengoku-period heritage.
