Kirihayashi (霧囃子), meaning misty grove music, is a namacho (once-pasteurized, cold-stored) sake from Chitosezakari Shuzo in Kazuno, Akita. Brewed at this 1872-founded northern brewery with subterranean fermentation cellars and Akita's clean cold water, this Josen-grade namachozo preserves freshness while developing a refined, smooth character.
