Hakuran Tokusenhonjozo is a select-grade honjozo from Hakuran Shuzo in Miyoshi, Hiroshima, where a small addition of distilled alcohol is used to sharpen aroma and achieve a cleaner finish. The tokusen designation indicates higher-tier raw materials and brewing care within the honjozo category. Hiroshima's soft water tradition lends the sake its characteristic smoothness.
