- 1918Founded as Okamoto Shuzo Goshigaisha (Taisho 7 / 1918, per the company overview page). Known for the brand Hanajiman, popular mainly in the Osaka area, brewing with groundwater from a well on the brewery grounds in Fushimi.
- 1974In June of Showa 49 (1974, per the company overview page), renamed to Sekaitaka Shuzo Co., Ltd.
