This vintage umeshu uses 1979-vintage aged sake, the same base as the Gold Medal winner at the International Wine Challenge in the aged sake category, combined with Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums and rock sugar. The award-winning depth of the base koshu lends the plum liqueur an exceptional foundation of mellow richness.
