This 1994 vintage umeshu uses Fukui Prefecture Benisashi plums steeped in aged sake from the same year with rock sugar. The mellow roundness of the long-matured koshu base blends with the Benisashi plum's aromatic quality and generous fruit acidity into a structured, full-bodied plum liqueur.
