🍶
Description
Brewed in 1998, this vintage umeshu uses Benisashi plums from Fukui Prefecture, a variety prized for its aromatic quality and generous flesh, steeped with rock sugar in aged sake from the same year. The mellow sweetness of the long-matured koshu base melds with the natural fruit acidity to produce a rich, layered plum liqueur.
