沿革

  1. 1903Founded as Yamazaki Goshi Kaisha in Hazu village (Meiji 36), using the trademark "Nisshin".
  2. 1920Began using the trademark "Sonno" (Taisho 9).
  3. 1931Began using the trademark "Sonnoh" (Showa 6), the brand name still used today.
  4. 1937Introduced a low-temperature storage system for sake (Showa 12).
  5. 1974Completely eliminated the addition of sugars to its sake (Showa 49).
  6. 1984Won a gold medal at the National New Sake Awards (Zenkoku Shinshu Kanpyokai) for three consecutive years (Showa 59).
  7. 1993Completed construction of a new brewing kura (Heisei 5).
  8. 2002Launched the "Oku" brand (Heisei 14).
