沿革

1. 1871Founded in 1871 as a sake shop in Yuriage, then a bustling official port of the Date domain; the trade name "Naminooto" and brand "Hosen Naminooto" were established.
2. 2011On March 11, 2011, the brewery was destroyed by the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake; brewing resumed from two tanks that survived by chance.
3. 2012On March 11, 2012, began selling "Yuri," bottled from the small amount of sake that survived the disaster.
4. 2012In December 2012, began brewing in a temporary factory, said to be the first case of its kind in Japanese brewing history.
5. 2017In 2017, as Yuriage's reconstruction progressed, began planning the full rebuilding of the brewery.
6. 2018On December 25, 2018, held the ground-breaking ceremony for the new brewery.
7. 2019On October 1, 2019 ("Sake Day"), held the opening ceremony of the new brewery, completing full reconstruction.
