A junmai karakuchi from Tabata Shuzo in Wakayama City, polished to 60% and brewed with Kinokawa subterranean water through the traditional cold-season method practiced at the 1851-founded kura. The palate is firmly rice-forward with clean, mild acidity, a dry finish, and received gold at the 2017 National Kanzake (heated sake) Contest.
